I’m back with another giveaway, brought to you by the kind folks at Figure of the Day! This time, we’re celebrating the upcoming release of the highly-anticipated Avengers movie with two of its stars: “genius-billionaire-playboy-philanthropist” Tony Stark, and that villainous Loki Laufeyson. You can enter to win a Marvel Select Loki or Marvel Select Iron Man! On February 3rd, we’ll announce the winners.
So, claim your raffle tickets! Pick which figure you want and enter the contest for it below. For every action that you take from the list, you get another ticket thrown into the pool. The more actions you take, the more chances you have to win!
GIVEAWAY OVER! Congrats to Shirley and Tim, our two winners! Thanks to everyone who entered!

Here’s another figure high on my Want-But-Will-Never-Have list: the 2008 SDCC Exclusive Lobo figure by Mattel (why do all the good figures come out as SDCC exclusives?). I’ve been wanting a Lobo figure for a while (he’s the Main Man, c’mon), and this one is definitely the best they’ve ever come out with. Too bad it’s pricier than the earlier Manbat!
Also, I wanted to share with you the #1 on my “Most Wanted Figure List.” This bad boy was a San Diego Comic Con Exclusive back in 2007, and while a few of them still pop up on eBay, they cost a much prettier penny than I can afford. Still, I can admire it from afar! It’s the DC Universe White Variant Manbat. Yowza.
I’ve always loved Manbat (and bats in general); he’s pretty much the literal incarnation of Batman, and he’s just such an interesting character what with his lack of control… a lot like Doc Conners from Spiderman. This white variant is flippin’ awesomely detailed, with the veins and everything. I doubt I’ll ever get my hands on him, but I may be getting the regular brown figure soon, so I won’t be totally bat-less. ;P
